Intel corporation.

Intel overview.

Founded in 1968, Intel’s technology has been at the heart of computing breakthroughs. We are an industry leader, creating world-changing technology that enables global progress and enriches lives. We stand at the brink of several technology inflections—artificial intelligence (AI), 5G network transformation, and the rise of the intelligent edge—that together will shape the future of technology. Silicon and software drive these inflections, and Intel is at the heart of it all.

Is Intel a great opportunity?

The stock has had a difficult year, there are some important points to keep in mind, history tells us somehow that Intel is a fantastic company analysts have estimated an intrinsic value of $85 per share, with a PER of 9.57, a solid dividend of 3% on average and great perspective in new business models such as AI and cloud computing.

In the last five years, AMD, INTEL's main competitor, had a spectacular stock market revaluation of almost 3000%, with fantastic projects and new proposals in silicon solutions the market has been good to this company.

But is AMD really as good a company as INTEL?

The answer lies with everyone, certainly INTEL had some problems with the development of its new line of processors and AMD has done a great job with the new Ryzen 9, however INTEL's business is shifting to other sectors, for example cloud computing and that point is not considered today.

Technical Analysis.

Fibonacci was taken from April 27 to October, the stock price oscillated between 0.236 ($52.77) support and 0.382 ($55.77) Fibonacci index resistance almost five months, and on October 22 Intel fell 12% after the earnings report. The RSI and MACD are just a reflection of what the Mr. Market sentiment is for Intel, and from May to October on these indicators, it is remarkable to see a neutral move, the stock does not have many reflectors this year and on the other hand, the SMA50 passed below the SMA200 on August 21 and produced a death cross to consolidate a downtrend.

Intel looks like the ugly but very smart girl in the semiconductor room, no one is seeing its true potential and in the short term this environment shows us a great possibility for the stock to break the support at $49.71 and move to the next one at $45.45 which represents an 8% decline
