Chinese Famous Mountains
China is a beautiful country full of many spectacular mountains, surrounded by rich cultural associations. Also, their mountains are known for being one of the most beautiful natural attractions that the country has.
Huangshan:
Huangshan or the “Yellow Mountains” are known as the “four natural wonders”. Huangshan´ s pines are from different sizes and shapes. They have long downward cliffs with oddly - shaped rocks. The “seas of clouds” create a nice atmosphere making the peaks of the mountains look like islands in the sky. From November to May, this event can be seen after rainy or cold days. Also, the mountains have famous hot springs that many tourists enjoy for relaxing after the tiredness of climbing. Huangshan Mountains have been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1991. They were called Yellow Mountains because of the legendary Yellow Emperor (Huang Di) in 747 AD. There are many Buddhist temples and has become a major tourist attraction because of its scenic characteristics.
Huashan Mountain:
Recognized for being “the world's most dangerous hiking trail”, the mountain is famous for its natural steep crags and narrow paths. The mountain has a height of 2,155 meters and has 5 amazing but extremely tall peaks. The East Peak is perfect for sitting and watching the sunrise, the North Peak is known for the “sea of clouds” that is formed. The South Peak is the highest and the West Peak is a huge rock shaped like a lotus flower.
Mount Tai:
Mount Tai symbolizes China's prosperity and peace, recognized as a symbol of the Chinese spirit over 2,000 years. The mountain represents power in ancient times, it is said that emperors climbed the mountain just to worship earth and heaven at the same time. Taishan is a mountain influenced by Buddhist culture. There are over 20 building complexes, 2,200 historical relics and 2 important tourist attractions. The mountain offers an amazing view of the entire area, recommending sunset and sunrise time to appreciate the sea of clouds.
Emei Mountain:
One of the best - known destinations for tourists. The mountain is surrounded by Buddhisy culture and temples, offering lovely natural scenery. The mountain is at an elevation of 3.,077 meters above sea level and the color of the clouds change during sunsets aand runsires. The Golden Buddha on the summit is the highest golden Buddha in the world and has definitely become a symbol at Mountain Emei.
Jade Dragon Mountain:
Jade Dragon Mountain is always full with snow, so if you look at it from a distance, you will appreciate a silver - white dragon. The landscape offers snow, water, forests and meadows. Offering popular attractions on the mountain.
